Get-go Adventures Booking Terms and Conditions

Get-go Adventures ("we", "us", and "our") has established the following booking conditions as the foundation of your contract with us. We urge you to carefully review and comprehend these terms, as they delineate our respective rights and responsibilities. Upon requesting confirmation of your booking, we presume that you have had the opportunity to read and fully understand these booking conditions and give your consent to them.

The agreement is between the client (referred to as "the client" and "you" in this document) and Get-go Adventures. The contract applies to any person traveling or intending to travel on a tour operated by the us, including any individual added or substituted after the booking. Both parties agree that Maldives law (and no other) will govern the contract and any dispute, claim, or other matter arising between us (including personal injury and the exception noted below) will be resolved solely by the Maldives Courts of Law. No employee of the Company, except for a director, has the authority to alter or exclude any of these terms.

Terms and conditions

1.    Booking terms

•     Reservation is required at least 7 days before the departure date. The tour only departs depending on local weather and a minimum of 4 people.

•     The tour is formatted in a join group, but accommodation and dining will be arranged separately for each group to optimize your privacy and comfort. The private tour can be arranged upon request.

•     When registering for the tour, please pay 100% of the tour value (excluding international airfare).

•     For safety reasons, it is not accepting guests with more than 5 months pregnant.


2.    Refund policy

•     Note: for the benefit of both parties, refund requests need to be emailed to info.getgoadventure@gmail.com for evidence. The amount you are refunded will be paid by Get-go Adventures within 7 days after reviewing the condition under the cancellation policy and confirming the settlement.

•     For any personal reasons, you can completely cancel the tour and pay the cancellation fee as follows:

§  Cancellation notices at least 14 days before the start date: 100% the amount paid will be refunded.

§  Cancellation notice 10 days before tour start date: 80% refund of the paid amount. However, you can transfer 100% credit by having 1 time to change a departure date within the next 3 months from the scheduled tour date, with a fee of US $20.

§  Cancellation notice 7 days before tour start date: 50% refund of the paid amount.

§  Cancellation less than 7 days before tour start date: 100% payment. The amount paid will not be refunded.

3.    Modification by Get-go Adventures: The itinerary is a guide to which we will attempt to adhere, but it may be necessary to alter this at short notice as a result of circumstances or events outside our control such as adverse weather or road conditions or any of those amounting to force majeure (see paragraph 4), or due to the operating conditions imposed by owners and operators of accommodation, facilities and transport. Your itinerary will, however, be the same in content as far as is reasonably possible, unless circumstances beyond our control make this impossible. Should weather conditions involve you in extra costs such as accommodation, transportation and meals, these will be borne by mutual agreement between us.

4.    Cancelation by Get-go Adventures: in case of force majeure due to weather, natural disasters, strikes, riots, vandalism, war, or epidemics that affect the tour, Get-go Adventures may have to cancel or modify the itinerary. After deducting the performed activities, Get-go Adventures will refund the balance left and will not be responsible for any additional costs.

 

5.    Flights: As Get-go Adventures does not included international flights, the clients are responsible for arranging, paying, and confirming your return flights to and from your destination. It is important that the details of arrival and departure flight numbers and times are communicated to Get-go Adventures. Please note that we cannot be held liable for any change, cancellation, or delay in your transportation, whether it is to or from your home country or during your tour. These events may be caused by factors outside our control such as adverse weather conditions, rescheduling by a transport supplier, airline or airport authority, industrial action, or any other unforeseen circumstances. We do not offer refunds for lost tour time resulting from long flight delays, and airlines typically do not offer compensation for flight delays unless under the Denied Boarding Regulations. It is therefore crucial that clients have personal travel insurance that provides adequate and appropriate cover for the full duration of the holiday.


6.    Maldives local island regulation: When visiting local islands in the Maldives, it is important to respect the Muslim culture and dress code:

Dress code: Men can wear t-shirts and shorts or swim shorts.; Women are advised to dress more conservatively by wearing t-shirts, shorts, or sarongs, and avoiding bikinis and swimwear, except on designated tourist beaches, uninhabited islands, picnic islands, sandbanks, dive boats, or resort islands.

Consumption of alcohol and pork is prohibited on local islands.

Clients who engage in illegal activities, such as damaging property or bringing alcohol/ pork products onto a local island from a resort island, may be excluded from the tour, and Get-go Adventure will no longer be responsible to/for them. In such cases, no refund will be given for any unused services.


7.    Activities & meals included in packages: If clients skip sightseeing, activities or meals, no refund will be given.

 

8.    Any clients intentionally obstruct the work of the tour guide, endangers the safety of others, and affects the normal operation of the tour. The tour guide will consult each client to make a decision to exclude the passenger to leave the group and not refund any costs to that client.

 

9.    Covid-19 safety measure:

To ensure the safety of all guests and partners during tours and activities provided by Get-go Adventures, it is essential to adhere to social distancing guidelines and wear face masks according to Maldives health regulation.

While Get-go Adventures has implemented preventive measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the company cannot guarantee that guests, partners, or others will not contact with the virus.

As a guest, you acknowledge these risks and assume responsibility for any related illnesses or infectious diseases, including COVID-19.

We ask that guests closely monitor themselves for any symptoms of COVID-19 and contact us by email if they experience any signs of the virus within 10 days after participating in a tour or activity.
